This year [2007] has seen many exciting developments within the rhythm of life for the youth of the church. The Friday night program (the Gate), the main teaching and training time for the youth, has become a regular fixture. This has cultivated the relationships and identity of the youth.

In the Winter/Spring of 2007 we focussed on the main worldview questions which underlie many of the convictions one holds. Together we identified how to deconstruct worldviews and how to formulate our own within a Christian framework.

The Fall 2007 has used the material provided by the BCOQ as a framework. We have interacted with God’s role in creation; God’s role as King; and our role as his representatives.

The program has also benefited from integrative activities which challenge us to put into practice the teaching and training. One of these exciting activities is the Adventure Club program which will be starting in the New Year. The youth will provide the teaching and training for the children in the church.
